Message from Prescott College President, Dan Garvey:
Prescott College feels great sadness for the passing of Virginia Carol Kennedy, known to us as Carol. Our hearts go out to her family and friends in this time of loss.

Carol served the College as a faculty member from 1989 to the year 2000, and played a significant leadership role in her time at the College as coordinator of the Human Development Program. In the past decade she has taught occasional classes in our residential Degree Bachelor of Arts program and served as a mentor to graduate students. Others knew her as a therapist and as an artist and printmaker who showed her work at Yavapai College, Van Gogh's Ear and other local venues.

Carol was a strong advocate for progressive, interdisciplinary learning. She was a thoughtful and caring teacher who was greatly valued by her students. She was a gifted and generous artist, educator, and friend. She will be deeply missed.
