We are bringing back the lost tradition of home cheese making. Cheese is a whole food when made with fresh milk. While attending this workshop, students will learn how to make cheese... what the different cultures do for the milk and why they are used. What is rennet and why is it used to make cheese. Attendees will also leave knowing what ingredients can be added to enhance the flavors of cheese. We will also cover the art of home butter making. How to culture butter and taste the difference between sweet cream butter verses sour cream butter. And what to do with butter milk and whey! Join the homesteaders and become less dependant on industrialized dairy products--tastings included!
